The official announcement fell on Saturday. The landscapes of champagne are officially classified in the UNESCO world heritage. An excellent news for the fame of the region and its wine.
It is in Bonn in Germany that the decision was officially announced. The champenoise delegation learnt with an immense enjoyment the choice of the Organization. The mayor of Epernay, Franck Leroy, deputy Philippe Martin or still the president of the association defending the case, Pierre Cheval, was on site.
