A franco-American wine grower offers Champagne to Barack Obama

John Charles Ricciuti, a Franco-American winemaker based in Avenay-Val-d’Or, just send to the president of the United States of America a case of champagne. A few days before Christmas, John Charles Ricciuti wanted to show with his family their commitment to the homeland of his father 70 years after D-Day. Albert Ricciuti has reached for the first time the soil of France on Utah Beach on Tuesday, June 6, 1944. A few years later, he settled in the Champagne region.
A second case was sent to Madam Ambassador of the United States who recently took office. In the accompanying letter, John Charles Ricciuti, invited the President and diplomat to visit his winery.
