50 candles for Jacquart

It’s been just about 50 years, in 1964, when Jacquart came to life. Five decades later the company ranks in the world top ten Champagne brand in terms of volume. Under Laurent Reintau’s management, the company relies on a 2 500 hectares (6 177 acres) production site, or a fair 7% of the entire Champagne vineyard.
Along the years, Jacquart has overcome many stages. In 1974, the 100 000 sold bottles mark was reached, and later on in 1984, the 750 000 mark. About 3 million bottles are sold today.
Jacquart’s most recent history is also highlighted by some of the worlds greatest names in Oenology. Jacky Peters and Régis Camus have long managed a cellar today in Florence Eznack’s good hands. The range of products today comprises 5 vintages, Brut Mosaïque, Rosé, Extra Brut, Blanc de Blancs and the Alpha Vintage presented last year.
